When your website suffers downtime you loose not only your loyal website visitors but also your own reputation. While most of the hosting companies do give promise of 99.9% uptime, but very few hosting companies are able to keep this promise. Kaushal Sheth, a well known web designer and web developer also suffered downtime few weeks back. As a result of downtime, his work suffered a lot. He quickly researched online for best web hosting companies and compiled a list of good hosting providers. His list includes Host Monster, Host Gator and Yahoo Host. As per the list displayed on Kaushalsheth.com, Host Monster seems to be a better choice than Host Gator. The plans of Host Monster are cheaper and the hosting is CPanel based. Kaushal has recommended Host Gator for reseller hosting service. I myself have used Host Gator and found it to be very good. For my next website, maybe I will try Host Monster.
